The Music Hall, the landmark Victorian theatre in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire has just announced two additions to its lineup in the Intimately Yours concert series: Justin Townes Earle Thursday October 21 7:30pm and Chris Isaak, Friday December 3, 8pm.  Tickets to both shows go on sale to members noon Friday, July 23, and to the general public noon Friday, August 6. According to Patricia Lynch, “We are thrilled to be bringing these two singer songwriters to The Music Hall stage during their national tours behind new CDs. They each represent the kind of talent we scour the globe for – the rising young artist like Justin Townes Earle who just came off his Grand Ole Opry debut, and the iconic Chris Isaak who continues to keep it fresh in show after show, album after album. These concerts are not to be missed!” Co-Curator Therese LaGamma echoed her sentiments about Justin Townes Earle – “He was one of the highlights of this year’s SXSW. If you like Dave Rawlings Machine, you won’t want to miss this show!”

About Justin Townes Earle
Touring behind a new album Harlem River Blues, Justin Townes Earle is a man beyond eras whose sound straddles not only the Mason-Dixon, but time itself. The recipient of the Best New and Emerging Artist award at the 2009 Americana Music Awards, Earle has just made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. His 2009 record, Midnight at the Movies, was named one of the best records of the year by Amazon, received four stars in Rolling Stone and has been capturing listeners since its release. In addition to his musical accolades, he has appeared on NPR's Morning Edition, World Cafe and the HBO television series Treme alongside his father Steve Earle.

About Chris Isaak
Singer songwriter Chris Isaak made a stunning 1985 debut and later hit the Top Ten with Wicked Game. His music has been featured in David Lynch’s cult classic Blue Velvet, while his tune Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing was on the soundtrack of Stanley Kubrick’s controversial Eyes Wide Shut. A Roy Orbison protege with matinee idol looks, Isaak is touring behind his new CD, Mr. Lucky.
