The Music Hall is a performing arts center featuring curated entertainment from around the world in two theaters in its downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire campus—the landmark 1878 Victorian theater, and the intimate Music Hall Loft around the corner.
Corporate conventions, ticketed events, and trade shows are our specialty—sales conferences, product launches, team building programs, educational seminars, employee or client appreciation gatherings, annual meetings, red carpet premieres, and holiday parties. We offer a full service box office, two venues in downtown Portsmouth, and three chic bars with ample gathering space.
You can rent the historic theater including the 900-seat auditorium or the 124-seat Music Hall Loft; or for smaller, more intimate happenings and the Loft lobby is available for pre-show and post-show receptions.
We work with the top caterers on the Seacoast, who can provide everything from fresh New England seafood to exotic tapas.

Our in-house technical expertise and equipment includes an audiovisual director, technical advisor, and HD and 35mm projectors—we can produce everything from a theatrical presentation to a CD audio recording to a podcast.
