“Sultry ballads, steamy solos, seductive dancers.”– LA Buzz

On Saturday September 7, 2013 at 8:00pm, The Music Hall welcomes back the 19-piece 1930s New Orleans orchestra and cabaret show, Vaud & The Villains, to the Historic Theater. Vaud & the Villains’ early 20th century motif is full of bold sounds, with melodies ranging from parlor songs, spirituals and Mardi Gras classics, and pageantry that brings 1930s New Orleans to life. As inspiring and spontaneous as the Big Easy itself, this show promises an evening of entertainment and revelry. Come and be villainized!

About Vaud & The Villains

The act was inspired by the Bruce Springsteen Seeger Sessions album. The show is part concert, part revival show, part Americana Noir, part Moulin Rouge. The show has many outrageous characters like Big Daddy - the gettin’ man, Peaches Mahoney - pickpocket, Lady Creole, Preacher and Vaud Overstreet.
