Giving Thanks

Thank you

The start of a New Year brings with it so many different things: new resolutions, new opportunities, new beginnings. For the third year in a row, we are starting the New Year here at The Music Hall by giving thanks and designating January Corporate Appreciation Month as a way to acknowledge the generous support of our corporate partners.

This year we are fortunate to have a number of new things to celebrate, thanks to the support of our sponsors:

  • For the first time ever, our Historic Theater box office has a new name: the B2W Box Office at The Music Hall, which was made possible through a significant, multi-year commitment by our friends at B2W Software.
  • We launched a new pilot scholarship program designed to provide students from local Title I schools the opportunity to experience our beloved School Days Series free of charge with support from one of our longest-standing corporate partners D.F. Richard Energy.
  • Patrons of the Historic Theater and Loft are now enjoying Gluten and GMO Free popcorn from our new provider and partner Popzup Popcorn.
  • We welcomed several new sponsors into our community of corporate supporters, including: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, an affiliate of the Wentworth-Douglass Health System located in Dover, NH; Alnoba, a new retreat and event facility located in Kensington, NH; The Financial Advisors, LLC, a financial planning and investment management firm with locations currently in Andover and Newburyport, MA; Bank of New Hampshire, which opened a new branch at Portwalk Place in June 2016; Profile Coffee Bar, a coffee shop and more also located at Portwalk Place; Experimac of Portsmouth, which can be found on Islington Street and offers Apple®-related products and professional services; and Salt Cellar, a retail shop set in Portsmouth’s Commercial Alley that offers an array of salt products.

As I think about the year ahead and all that will take place at The Music Hall – from live performances, to community gatherings and new events – I am reminded yet again of the important part our sponsors play in helping us achieve our mission of being an active and vital arts center for the enrichment of the Seacoast community, and I want to start this year off by saying THANK YOU!
