Learning from the Masters

It’s always great to watch students who dream of becoming successful meet someone who has accomplished it. They all start off the same, an awkward silence, usually broken by their teacher asking the first question, followed by an excited rush of questions from the students.

I like to make sure I get the chance to be at these classes, not just to capture some social media (although Salman Rushdie did retweet me and I’m still over excited about it) but to see another side of the performer. To see someone who has become extremely successful take time from their busy schedule to give advice to the next generation is really rewarding.
