Melanie Burger has been a social media professional for as long as that’s been a thing, currently working as the Social Media Community Builder at Stonyfield. In her current role she creates social media strategies, plans social campaigns, builds loyalty through social communities and influencer engagement, creates content, and spends a lot of time looking at cat videos (you know, to keep up with the trends…).

“Using Social Media Effectively in Higher Education”
Jason Boucher is the social media manager and a digital content strategist at the University of New Hampshire. He’s responsible for developing and leading the social media strategy, which allows him to enhance and expand the University’s digital presence, increase brand awareness, promote the University’s mission, and build relationships with stakeholders.
Outside of UNH, he’s involved with the New Hampshire Seacoast art & music community. He has over ten years experience working with nonprofit radio and is a member of The Music Hall, 3S Artspace, Prescott Park Arts Festival, Alpha Loft, and regular attendee of Digital Portsmouth. He has an Advanced Social Media Strategy Certificate from Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University and a Masters in Education (M.Ed.) from UNH expected Spring 2017. He also blogs for Huffington Post and edSocialMedia and deejays weekly at WSCA 106.1 FM.

Based in Kittery, Jack Callahan is a digital marketer and audience builder. He’s told stories on social media for organizations such as Amtrak, Airbnb, Hostelworld, and Cathay Pacific. With a focus on community involvement, he specializes in campaigns and experiences that allow people to meaningfully engage with brands big and small.
Content Strategy/Copywriter, Vital Design
Crystal is a writer with a strong focus on content strategy and inbound marketing methodology. As the Voice of Vital, she manages Vital communications and sets the tone for Vital’s blog and social media presence. Crystal also advises clients on website content strategy,call-to-action and conversion strategy, blogging best practices and brand voice. Crystal was born in Portsmouth, and is a self-proclaimed Portsmouth Enthusiast. She is the organizer of TEDxPiscataquaRiver and volunteers with community organizations such as 7 Stages Shakespeare Company and ArtSpeak. She loves reading, writing, Portsmouth history and riding her motorcycle, Susan. Crystal was named as one of 10 to Watch in 2015 by Catapult and SeacoastOnline, and is committed to sharing #PortsmouthLOVE.
