The Portsmouth Music and Arts Center’s Fifth Annual Jazz Night replicates a Jazz Club in the intimate setting of The Music Hall Loft—the kind of club you might have visited in New York City in the late 40s or 50s, with a band featuring seven of the region’s top jazz musicians - Nicole Hajj on vocals, Matt Langley and Russ Grazier on saxes, guitarist Jim Dozet, pianist Jeff Auger, drummer Jim Rudolf, and Nate Therrien on bass. The evening features music spanning the past century, celebrating jazz history and introducing new works of today. Join the PMAC jazz faculty for this celebration of America’s original art-form.
