Film Club @ The Music Hall Loft

“Like a shooter whose skill allows him to take careful aim with a rifle…director Eastwood’s big picture is suredly calibrated.” – Duane Byrge, The Hollywood Reporter

Director, Clint Eastwood
Former gunslinger turned pig farmer William Munny (Clint Eastwood) hasn’t killed a man or had a drink in years. Then he meets the Schofield Kid (Jaimz Woolvett), who wants to revenge a murder and claim the reward. Munny reluctantly joins in the fight, recruiting his friend Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman) along the way. The killing won’t be that easy, though, for everyone involved…

About Film Club:

A new series every six months, we’ll be focusing on a particular outstanding director, genre, or artist. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, we’ll show a film followed by a lively, participatory discussion. Curators Bill and Stella Pence, founders of the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado and the Music Hall’s Telluride by the Sea Film Festival, have chosen Great Westerns for July through December 2018 and director/playwright/performer Kent Stephens will be our host and guide.

A must for all Telluride lovers, film discussion buffs, and all-around cinephiles!
