EXPLORE + LEARN PARTNER OF THE YEAR

We are proud to announce the selection of Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) the nonprofit community music and arts school, as our Explore + Learn Partner of the Year. The Explore + Learn program seeks to provide learning opportunities to our greater community by way of the arts, opportunities which include connecting PMAC students with the world-renowned artists who perform at The Music Hall each year and who can open doors of knowledge for learners of all ages. This partnership will include special educational opportunities for PMAC students including: complimentary tickets to Music Hall shows and specific behind the scenes access to Master Classes and “Meet and Greets” with the artists visiting The Music Hall.

According to Programming Coordinator, Chris Curtis, “We are thrilled to be working with such a great organization with faculty committed to offering its students a great experience in the performing and visual arts. I love their line ‘Whether you aspire to study music or art at the college level and enter a career in the arts, or just want to follow through on your New Year’s resolution to learn piano, we’re here to help you with each step.’ That really says it all!”

Russ Grazier, Executive Director, PMAC, “This partnership, particularly in our 10th anniversary year, will not only provide extraordinary opportunities for our students via access to top notch artists who appear on stage at The Music Hall each year, but it also helps to continue to build awareness of PMAC as an institution devoted to excellence in arts education and building community through the arts. This is a win-win for both organizations since we are both all about building community.”
