Help Us Finish This Year Successfully
We are thrilled to report that The Music Hall has had an impressive and successful 2009-2010 season! With 15 Intimately Yours, 8 Writers on a New England Stage, 18 School Days Series/Kids RULE! Performances, and a number of top films and documentaries, we are keeping the magic alive for our 100,000 patrons (including 20,000 school children). We are maintaining our ticket prices as low as possible (Writers evenings are $11 for members), partnering with more than 40 local non-profits, and welcoming school groups into the Hall at little or no cost to the students. Important to our community, we’re infusing the local economy with $5.5M annually, all while bringing a range of arts from throughout the world to the Seacoast (often at an expense to the Hall).
If we could, we would do it all without asking for extra help from our friends… but in order to cover our expenses we rely on members like you to help us bring the magic (and the world!) to the Seacoast. While this year has been a bright one, we are still feeling the impact of a difficult and challenging 2008-2009 season, which left us, like many non-profits, below our budget goal.
We are grateful for your support and dedication to our theater through your membership. It is membership and appeal dollars that help us cover our daily operating budget while subsidizing almost half of each performance on our stage. Please assist us by making an additional donation to our Spring Appeal, above and beyond your membership gift, to help us close this fiscal year as successfully as possible and begin next season on a high note!
