VINTAGE CHRISTMAS IN PORTSMOUTH

 

This new classic holiday tradition in New Hampshire’s oldest waterfront town – a collaboration of The Music Hall and Strawbery Banke Museum is heading into its fifth year of “Strolls, Shows, and Stayovers.” That’s the Candlelight Stroll that Strawbery Banke has hosted for 30 years, the live holiday shows, opera broadcasts and films in The Music Hall’s restored theater, and the stayovers at charming hotels and inns.

The celebration kicks off with the City of Portsmouth’s Tree Lighting and Illuminated Christmas Parade centered around Market Square slated for Saturday December 5th and ends with First Night Portsmouth on Thursday December 31.

 

Back by popular demand will be the free Vintage Christmas Trolley to shuttle patrons around the historic seaport each Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening for the first three weekends in December. New this year are hotel packages at the Hilton and Sheraton which include tickets to strolls and shows. Contact the hotels through the links below and look for the Vintage Christmas Package.
