Exhale… it’s time for The Big Calm! That moment to slow down, take a breath, calm your nerves, and slow those racing thoughts—and no, you don’t have to travel to Bali or even wear stretchy pants. Join us for an hour of all things relaxation: breathing to calm the nervous system, sound therapy to soothe the mind, and guided relaxation to… well, calm everything! No yoga or meditation experience necessary. Dress to be comfortable and bring a yoga mat or blanket to sit on, chairs are available for those who prefer.

Ankati Day (she/her) is a teacher of yoga and mindfulness practices designed to reveal the buried wisdom in our bodies and our natural state of ease and wellbeing. She also shares Sound Healing with crystal bowls, DJs the Seacoast Ecstatic Dance, and writes poetry. Ankati lives in her home state of Maine after many years away, and loves wandering the forest trails with her dog Lumi.
