This year, we will again be collecting donations in front of the theater along with our community partner, Gather on Saturday June 26 from 9am to 3pm. We will need volunteers in the lead-up, on the day of, and following the event, so if you are interested in volunteering. Sign up!

We need volunteers for the following
Neighborhood Captains
Organize a localized food drive that will be delivered on June 26. Manage your neighborhood’s team (see list below), track neighbor participation, and oversee the delivery of collection. You are the driving force of your team’s campaign. You are an excellent delegatee and you get the job done!

Most volunteers print their flyers at home, but if you don’t have access to a printer, contact Jonnie Jordan and we can print them for you.
Neighborhood Assistants
Assist your neighborhood captain. You support the outreach efforts of your neighborhood campaign by helping with whatever may be needed: distribute flyers, make calls to other team members, communicate with food donors. You are the team member ready to help make it happen!
Flyer Distributors
Working with your neighborhood team captain, you will drop off flyers at homes on specific blocks of your neighborhood. You are the first step in engaging the community!
Traffic Management
You will help us manage the flow of cars and people that are on Chestnut Street and nearby streets to ensure proper social distancing efforts and smooth transitions between drop off/unloading donations. You are the person keeping us moving!
