Providing Access to Quality Theater

For the past two decades, our beloved School Days Series of high-caliber, affordable (only $7!) matinees has entertained our youngest audiences. We serve more than 6,000 children from 80 Seacoast Pre-K to Middle School groups, homeschoolers, and families each year.  The upcoming season is also filled with opportunities for teachers and other creative educators. Study guides are available for download. These programs are designed primarily for school groups, but any group is welcome.

School Days Scholarship Program

In an effort to ensure access to the arts for all students, we operate a school scholarship program, providing students from local Title I schools (schools where 50% or more of students are eligible for the free/reduced price lunch program) with complimentary tickets and reimbursing the cost of transportation and even lunches.

We launched the School Days Scholarship Program in 2016-17, thanks to both a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and support from our long-time corporate partner D.F. Richard Energy. We were able to fully subsidize the School Days Series experience for more than 600 students from two local Title I schools that year and based on that success, we have committed to growing the program to support even greater numbers of students in need.
