How The Music Hall Gives Back
Providing arts & cultural experiences to our community
Give the Gift of Magic is an annual initiative inspired by longtime supporters Morgan and Tara Rutman, created to share the joy of live performance with our Seacoast neighbors who need it most. Each year, this program opens our doors a little wider—offering complimentary tickets so more families, individuals, and young people can experience the wonder, connection, and inspiration that only a night at The Music Hall can bring.
“At David Krempels Brain Injury Center, we serve brain injury survivors in the Seacoast area, some of whom have significant financial needs and limited access to the arts. Give The Gift has given our members an incredible opportunity to engage in their community and take a breather from the challenges of life after brain injury. We are incredibly grateful for The Music Hall’s generosity!”
— Jay Lancaster, MS CCC-SLP, Program Director
How Give the Gift Works
Our patrons and donors help us make a difference
Whenever you purchase a ticket to any show at The Music Hall, you have the opportunity to add a tax-deductible donation of any amount. Your contribution directly supports the distribution of free tickets to members of our community who might not otherwise have access to live arts and entertainment.
We work closely with community partners to ensure these gifts reach those who will benefit most. We’ve partnered with: Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire, Arts in Reach, Greater Seacoast Community Health, Cross Roads House, Easter Seals NH, One Sky Community Services, and many others. Through these organizations, tickets are placed directly into the hands of individuals and families who could use a moment of joy, a night out, or a spark of inspiration.
“The Give the Gift program at The Music Hall has opened doors for our youth to experience the power of the arts, many for the very first time. These performances spark creativity, broaden horizons, and create lasting memories for our Matches. Opportunities like this don’t just entertain, they inspire, build confidence, and strengthen the bonds between Bigs and Littles. We are deeply grateful for the partnership of the Music Hall in making these transformative experiences possible.”
— Nicole McShane, CFRE, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire & Vermont
