Providing Tickets to Families for the Holidays
The holiday season is the season of gift giving, and what better way to honor that than to give to those in need. This year’s Ogunquit Playhouse production of Annie at The Music Hall is even more magical with tons of great performers and songs, all wrapped up in our festively decorated Historic Theater.
But we need your help! Inspired by Morgan and Tara Rutman, Give the Gift of Magic has grown—just last year, we gifted 349 tickets to local families, but we hope to continue to grow this holiday season and beyond. From now through the first week of December, every time you purchase a ticket to any show at The Music Hall, you can give an additional, tax-deductible donation that will help us provide Annie tickets to those families in need.
We are excited to welcome new community partners, Haven, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire, Arts in Reach, Greater Seacoast Community Health (formerly Families First Health and Support Center and Goodwin Community Health of Somersworth) and Cross Roads House. Donations are accepted online, in person, or over the phone at the B2W Box Office by calling 603.436.2400.
“We are so fortunate to once again be a beneficiary of The Music Hall’s Give the Gift of Magic campaign,” said Janet Laatsch, Chief Executive Officer of Greater Seacoast Community Health. “This unique opportunity provides an experience many of our families can only dream of. People often forget that some of our Seacoast friends and neighbors struggle this time of year, but these tickets allow parents and their children to create long-lasting memories that are truly priceless.”
Adds Chris Curtis, Film and Outreach Manager for The Music Hall: “One of the favorite parts of my job is to help facilitate community outreach programs like this one. It’s rewarding for all of us at The Music Hall to know that more local families will enjoy the holiday magic of Annie this season, thanks to our wonderful patrons and amazing partners.”
