ABOUT KELLY LEWIS
Kelly Lewis is the Founder and Owner of Cask & Compass, a New Hampshire–based wine import company focused on wines with real character and a strong sense of place. A Rye native and the daughter of an airline pilot, Kelly grew up with an instinct for travel and curiosity—traits that first drew her to wine in college, where she discovered how a bottle can instantly transport you to another landscape, culture, and table.
After a career in biotech consulting in London and Boston, Kelly returned home to the Seacoast with her family and leaned fully into a lifelong passion for wine. She pursued Wine & Spirit Education Trust qualifications, earning WSET Level 2 and Level 3 certifications, and began spending her free time at trade tastings, learning from producers and seeking out bottles that overdeliver on authenticity.
Cask & Compass was born from that pursuit: connecting local wine lovers with small production wines made using sustainable methods —often from single-vineyard sites, indigenous grapes and estate-grown and bottled programs —that are rarely found in the U.S. market. After discovering the wines of Cas’Amaro, Kelly set out to bring them stateside and to build a portfolio that champions craftsmanship, provenance, and sheer drinking pleasure.
