The Wheel House was started by two families who noticed something missing: Portsmouth had plenty of ways to make art, but nowhere built specifically around pottery — a place to actually belong to, not just visit once. We wanted somewhere that:

• Welcomed you on day one, whether you’d never touched clay or you’d been elbow-deep in it for twenty years.
• Felt like a community first and a class schedule second.
• Gave people a reason to keep coming back — for the clay, and for each other.
