This holiday season’s best performances continue with Safe Haven Ballet’s The Nutcracker. This full-length performance will showcase a battle-ready Clara with her beloved Nutcracker Prince.
The dynamic duo will victoriously fight the evil Mouse Queen and her minions to then journey through the Land of Sweets encountering characters from a myriad of countries including the novel, patriotic American! You won’t want to miss this incredible show and fundraiser.

Safe Haven Ballet is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that exists to serve the community with free trauma-sensitive ballet, art and movement classes for survivors of sexual assault and trauma.

Unique to this Nutcracker is some artistic narrations by our eccentric Drosselmeyer, Christopher Ouellette. The battle scene includes choreography from our 4th degree Master Karate Instructor, Derek Nelson. This incredible cast includes performers of various abilities alongside professional dancers with a brave handful of survivors taking the stage. Our very own executive director of SHB and survivor, Lissa Curtis, will grace the stage with her role as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Thank you for supporting our mission and community through attending our full-length ballet performances. Coming in the next year, we hope to offer free trauma-sensitive children’s classes to aid in the healing of our youth.
