Thunder and Rain is a four-piece Newgrass band from Nashville, Tennessee. Touring and recording since 2014, the all-women band delivers high-energy performances full of melodic hooks and grassy drive. Thunder and Rain features Erinn Peet-Lukes on guitar and lead vocals, Amelia Ransom on fiddle, Laura Ray on banjo, and rotating guest bass players. Their sound combines bluegrass instrumentation with pop and rock song structures, rich three-part harmony, and skillful picking. Founding member Erinn Peet-Lukes has earned national recognition for her songwriting at Kerrville Folk Fest, Merlefest, and the IBMA Songwriter Showcase.
