End the Year on a High Note

Now that some of the hubbub has died down, it’s time to sit back and relax. In the downtime between Christmas and New Years Eve (if you are so lucky to have it), why not swing by the Hall for some entertainment?

First, catch one of the two showings of A Star is Born. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s already been nominated for the Golden Globes with much Oscar buzz. And don’t miss your chance to see the documentary, Studio 54, about the famed nightclub. The intimate drama Wildlife starts on Thursday 12/27 in the Loft, featuring Carey Mulligan and Jake Gyllenhaal. Don’t forget to check out the other films coming to The Music Hall—there are quite a few goodies!

If you enjoy opera, The Met at The Music Hall series will present Saint-Saëns’s biblical epic Samson et Dalila. Elīna Garanča and Roberto Alagna star in the title roles; the pair was last seen together by HD audiences in the acclaimed 2010 transmission of Bizet’s Carmen.

And finally, why not get a few laughs in before the year ends? Juston McKinney has three shows now, all recapping what has surely been an interesting year!

Happy New Year to you and yours. See you soon!
