Southside Johnny Rocks The Music Hall

Southside Johnny on stage

The history of the band dates back all the way to 1976, when they first started recording in New Jersey. Bruce Springsteen has been a close friend of the band, performing with them on numerous occasions and guested on their 1991 album titled Better Days. Over 100 musicians have claimed to be a part of the Asbury Jukes, including Jon Bon Jovi who toured with the band in 1990. Rolling Stone Magazine listed their album Hearts of Stone among the top 100 albums of the 1970’s and 1980’s. After 40+ years of recording and touring, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes still create the vintage Jersey Shore sound that first brought them to stardom along the East Coast.
