We’re continuing our Summer Fridays playlist series with Designer & Email Marketing Manager Sydney Bilodeau, pictured here in 1992 when bumblebee sunglasses were all the rage.
It was also the summer when the Dream Team won gold at the Barcelona Olympics, the average price of gas was $1.09 a gallon, and when Music Hall veteran, Whoopi Goldberg, donned her iconic nun’s habit in the hit film Sister Act. Alternative and hip-hop bands were making their mark across the music scene, but the top jams of summer ’92 were “I’ll Be There” by Mariah Carey, “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men, and “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-lot.
