Telluride tricks and tips

As this is now my third TbtS I thought I’d share some helpful trick and tips for this year’s festival.

It’s a long weekend of films, make sure to plan some time to take a walk, stretch, move around.

Check out our restaurant map, there are some tight turnarounds between some of the films, we’ve broken the list down to help you plan out where to go. The list also tells you where to use your member discount.  Friendly reminder, make reservations.

Make friends in line. You’re going to be in line (unless you have a Patron Pass), might as well talk to the people around you about the movies you’ve seen and what you’re looking forward to seeing.

Check out the movies at the Loft. I know, I know, six movies at the Historic Theater are a lot, but the Loft Series (for passholders only), are really special and you’ll be sorry that you missed them. Check out our Life Backstage with TbtS co-Founders Bill and Stella Pence to learn more about it.

Experiment with all of the new popcorn flavors. I’ve done some research on these flavors, check out my thoughts on it here, but I want to know what flavors you like. Share your thoughts on our popcorn with me by using hashtag #TMHPoPz.

To echo Bill and Stella, see as many movies as you can. I’ve found that the movies that I didn’t think that I would like, have turned out to me some of my favorites of the weekend.

Have fun. It’s a crazy weekend with a packed schedule, but it’s also supposed to be a lot of fun.

If you have questions, staff members will be on hand all weekend. We’re pretty easy to spot, we’ll be wearing grey shirts that say staff on the back, you can’t miss us.

If you haven’t already gotten your Beauty and the Beast tickets, this is your weekend. Because we love this weekend so much and we’re 10 weeks away from opening weekend, we are offering TbtS passholders and ticketholders, an additional 10% off this weekend only. (Box office reminded me to tell you that this can only be done in person at the Box Office or over the phone)

Have a great TbtS! I look forward to seeing you at the movies!
