Thankful for all of you

I’m so thankful to that we have such fabulous members. It’s because of all of you that we get to bring in such amazing shows. Your support is so crucial to everything we do here, from the shows we all love, to the outreach programming, to Giving the Gift of Magic, all of you make us who we are. I know that if you asked any staff member here, our members would top each of their lists.  For those of you who are new members, welcome! And thank you for being part of our family.

We also have an all-star cast of volunteer, and each show I am so thankful that they are there keeping everything running smoothly. We are so lucky that so many wonderful people give their time, talents, and positive energy to The Music Hall night after night. They really ensure that the show does in fact go on.

Over the last few years that I’ve worked here, we had so many amazing shows on our stage and I am thankful that we get to put on outstanding shows night after night, month after month, year after year. I’m also so grateful that I got to take a turn on stage as a moderator! Thank you Patricia Lynch and Margaret Talcott for having faith in me, and thank you Elin Hilderbrand for a great conversation.

We are so lucky here at TMH to be a part of such an arts rich community. There are so many fabulous organizations that bring the best of the arts to Portsmouth and the Seacoast and keep raising the bar. It’s amazing to see all of the shows, events, exhibits that take place everyday. We really are so blessed to be a part of this amazing community.

A couple of months ago, I talked my coworker and membership coordinator Alexis Hahalis, into starting a live talk show on Facebook. Each we we set up our camera and chat about what’s going on at TMH that week. We thought Live with Kait and Alexis would be fun, but we never expected to have so many of you tune in, comment, like, and watch our show each week. I’m so thankful that Alexis is up for just about everything, that you all seem to really like our show, and that we have people who want to be our guests!

Last but certainly not least, I’m thankful for all of you who not only read my blog each week, but engage with it. I love to hear your feedback and ideas.

I hope all of you have a happy Thanksgiving! I hope I’ll see you all around the theater this holiday season!
