I first met Sara Curry when my friend talked me into taking a Bikram Yoga class at Sara’s studio six years ago. While Bikram ended up being a passing interest of mine, I was thrilled that I got the chance to meet and learn from her. When I landed at The Music Hall, I got the chance to work with her on a very different and much cooler level when she brought the USA Yoga Regional Qualifier to the Historic Theater.Read More

Today we had our first School Day’s Series show of our season. This is by far the most adorable programming that we have here at The Music Hall. For just $6 local elementary students come see their favorite books come to life on the Historic Theater’s stage. I love watching all of the kids come in to the theater, some of them for the very first time, dressed in their very best outfits, all bursting with excitement that only a field trip can bring. Looking down from the balcony it always reminds me of a little ant farm watching all of the kids wiggling around in their seats, so excited to see the show.Read More

Then we all get to talk about them, what we liked, what we hated, what we’re looking forward to, I mean who knew Emma Stone could sing and dance?Read More

September is my favorite month, it is the start of fall, the beginning of football (I’m happy to share that I’m undefeated in both of my fantasy leagues), the Fairy House tour takes place (I have my wings ready), my birthday, and the Telluride by the Sea Film Festival comes to The Music Hall. Telluride is my favorite weekend at The Music Hall. I love that our little town gets some of the best movies before they are released, and I get to see them with some of my very favorite people.Read More

The driving force behind the creation of our #MyMusicHall, video series has been my boss, Monte Bohanan, our Director of Marketing. When I was putting together a list of possible subjects, it only seemed natural that he would be one of them. I love hearing his stories about what The Music Hall was like when he first started here and how it’s changed over the 17 years he’s been working here. After some sweet talking, he agreed to tell his story.
