Music is in the Air and Spring’s on the Way (Promise)

There are two events announced last week that could have flown in under the radar. The first, Magda Davitt, formerly known as Sinéad O’Connor, will be here with her band on Tuesday, April 24. This show is on sale now to everyone and is presented by Signature Sounds and Bright & Lyon. The second, Kirshner Concerts is presenting Joe Jackson on July 12. He goes on sale to everyone this Friday, March 16 at noon.

We are also lucky to host some amazing community events, like Portsmouth Music and Arts Center’s (PMAC) 11th Annual Jazz Night this Friday and Saturday, March 16 & 17, with four shows at the Loft, and the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra’s Spring Concert in the Historic Theater on Sunday, March 25.

So, no matter what your musical tastes, we’re sure to have something coming your way that will help shake off the winter blues and usher in the longer days and warmer weather – it’s coming, I promise.
