What’s Cooking in Live Entertainment

As we ring in the new year, it’s important to take the time to reflect on what we are grateful for. I am personally thankful to those of you who continue to include The Music Hall in your plans. A big shout-out to my Music Hall colleagues who work passionately behind the scenes to deliver quality experiences.

We’re cooking up some tasty dishes these days. Iconic music legend Richard Thompson brings his unforgettable guitar playing and songs to town on Thursday, January 30. Citizen Cope returns on Tuesday, February 11 with his unique melding of hip hop, folk, soul, and blues sounds. You won’t want to miss our Mardi Gras funk party when the New Orleans sensation Galactic takes the stage on Wednesday, February 12.

Several artists are making their first appearances on our stage this year: Lake Street Dive will hit the stage with their dynamite sound for two shows in April; Nashville-based country music artist and youngest member inducted to Grand Ole Opry, Josh Turner performs for us on Sunday, April 5; The Tallest Man On Earth brings his electrifying live show to Portsmouth on Sunday, May 10; and comedian magician and star of Netflix’s Magic for Humans Justin Willman will wow us with his talents as part of our Hilarity series on Friday, May 15. The magic continues with the return of Grammy Award-winners Melissa Etheridge and Chris Botti. Thank you for your continued support. Come enjoy an old favorite or sample something new!
